CONWAY, Ark. -- Hameed Ali had 18 points, dished out six assists and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi earned its first two-game win streak of the season, defeating Central Arkansas 75-68 on Thursday night.
Will Nelson had 14 points and five rebounds for the Islanders (4-18, 3-9 Southland), which are 3-7 in their last 10 games.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi shot 49.2 percent from the field and had 20 assists as a team.
LaQuentin Miles scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Central Arkansas (9-14, 4-9), which committed 18 turnovers and shot 45.6 percent from the field. Robert Crawford had 15 points and Jarvis Garner chipped in with 14 points and six rebounds.
