NEW YORK -- Justin Robinson scored 10 points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out nine assists and had three steals to lead Monmouth to a 73-58 win over St. Francis Tuesday night.
After Sheldon Hagigal's jumper early in the first half gave St. Francis (5-5) a 13-10 lead, Monmouth rattled off 14 straight and never trailed again.
Monmouth (4-6) closed the half with a 14-2 run and took a 43-22 advantage into the break.
Hagigal, who finished with a career-high 23 points, scored 15 in the first 10:17 of the second half to pull the Terriers with six points, 53-47, but Andrew Nicholas hit back-to-back 3-pointers and St. Francis would never again get closer than eight.
St. Francis converted just 3 of 21 3-point shots.
