DELAND, Fla. -- Orlando Coleman scored 18 points and Kennesaw State avenged a loss to Stetson earlier in the season with a 67-63 win Friday night.
Kennesaw State (6-22, 3-12 Atlantic Sun Conference) pulled away in the final minute of a tight contest, as neither team led by more than seven at any point.
Coleman threw down a dunk with 1:02 to play to put the Owls up 61-58 before Yonel Brown added a pair of free throws with 41 seconds remaining.
Aaron Graham hit a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to bring Stetson (7-20, 5-10) within 63-61. But Delbert Love was fouled and hit two free throws before Graham missed two late 3-pointers as Kennesaw State held on.
Love added 16 points for the Owls and Nate Rucker scored 11.
