MIAMI -- Shaquille Harrison scored 17 points and Tulsa used a big second half to take down Florida International 77-65 on Saturday.
Trailing 35-28 at half, Tulsa (15-12, 10-3 Conference USA) outscored FIU 49-30 in the second half.
The Golden Hurricane shot 54 percent in the second half, led by Harrison with 12 second-half points. Tulsa opened the half on a 15-3 run to take a 43-38 lead.
FIU (13-15, 5-8) cut the lead to 51-49 with 9:07 to play, but Tulsa responded with a 6-0 run and the Golden Panthers could come no closer than four points the rest of the way.
