BALTIMORE, Md. -- Cameron Ayers scored 22 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 17 seconds left, to put Bucknell over Loyola (Md.) 55-53 on Wednesday night.
Bucknell went 11-4 to start and held Loyola to just 14 first-half points. But the Greyhounds opened the second period with a 28-7 run to lead by seven, 42-35, with 10:04 to play.
With the Bison trailing by one, Ayers sank a 3-pointer with 17 seconds on the clock to put Bucknell back on top for the win.
The Bison had 16 turnovers during the game, 10 of which came as steals by the Greyhounds.
