Texas-Pan American started slowly and trailed by two at the break. But the Broncs pulled ahead early in the second period -- and maintained the lead -- on the shooting accuracy of Hines and Farrell. Shaquille Boga sank two free throws for the Broncs with 13 seconds remaining in play to end the Cardinals' hopes.
Texas-Pan American hit 46.3 percent from the field and 51.7 percent from the line.
