SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- Jarmar Gulley scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead red-hot Missouri State to a 74-61 win over Bradley on Saturday.
The Bears (15-7, 5-5 Missouri Valley) shot 56.8 percent for the game, including 11 of 25 from 3-point range with six different players connecting from behind the arc.
Walt Lemon Jr. paced Bradley (9-14, 4-6) with 13 points and matched his career-high with eight assists. Omari Grier added 12 points, hitting 4 of 5 3's.
After Lemon opened the scoring, the Bears reeled off 13 straight points, hitting three treys. Missouri Valley scored the last seven points of the half for a 33-28 lead. The Bears opened the second half with two layups before the Braves recovered.
It was a five-point game at the 8:38 mark.
