NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- J.J. Mann scored 28 points with four rebounds and three steals as Belmont buried Austin Peay 90-68 on Saturday.
Belmont hit 53 percent from the field overall and 91 percent from the line.
A Mann 3-pointer at 14:05 in the first half capped a 16-7 Belmont run to start. The Bruins maintained the advantage with a 53-44 lead at the break and would open it up even more in the second period with a hail of 3-pointers from Mann, Chamberlain, Drew Windler and Nick Smith. A final 8-2 push in the final four minutes sealed the Belmont win.
Chris Horton scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Governors (10-14, 4-6).
