HANOVER, N.H. -- Taylor Dyson scored a career-high 20 points and shot a perfect 5 of 5 from beyond the arc Tuesday as Hartford beat Dartmouth 68-56, snapping a two-game losing streak.
Dyson hit back-to-back 3-pointers to put Hartford (6-10) ahead 17-11, then hit another at 2:16 to give the Hawks an eight-point edge, but a layup at the buzzer by Dartmouth's Kevin Crescenzi cut the lead to 28-22 at halftime.
Dartmouth (7-6) took a 36-34 second-half lead on a layup by Connor Boehm, but Hartford ripped a 10-2 run, then Dyson hit another trey to make it 47-38. Dartmouth made it a five-point game on a layup by Gabas Maldunas, but Hartford pulled away and made nine free throws down the stretch.
Alex Mitola led Dartmouth with 13, Maldunas had 12, and Boehm, 11.
