TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Reggie Lewis scored 24 points, including six 3-pointers, as Florida A&M overpowered Coppin State in the second half, winning 82-71 on Saturday.
Coppin State (9-16, 6-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) led by five at the half, 37-32. But five minutes into the second half Lewis sank two 3-pointers and a layup, scoring seven unanswered points, to give the Rattlers a 44-41 lead.
Florida A&M (9-16, 5-7) expanded that lead to 80-64 with just under 2 minutes remaining to walk away with the victory.
