MILWAUKEE -- Keifer Sykes scored a career-high 34 points -- including the final four points in regulation -- to lead Green Bay to a 93-86 overtime victory against Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon.
Milwaukee led by four with 2 minutes to play in regulation, but two layups in a row by Sykes sent the game into overtime. His basket to tie up the game marked 1,200 career-points at Green Bay (13-3, 3-0 Horizon League).
The Panthers (12-6, 2-2) missed six of seven from the floor while Green Bay hit 4 of 8 in overtime to break away and record its eighth-straight win.
Alec Brown scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Phoenix.
Jordan Aaron led Milwaukee with 26 points and shot 5 of 9 from long distance as the team combined for 10 3-pointers.
