DAVIDSON, N.C. -- De'Mon Brooks had 27 points and 12 rebounds on Thursday night and Davidson handed Chattanooga its first Southern Conference loss 94-51.
The Wildcats (11-11, 7-1) also ended Chattanooga's (14-9, 8-1) 10-game winning streak though the Mocs remain a half-game ahead of Davidson in the conference standings.
Davidson ended the first half on a 10-2 run to take a 43-25 advantage at the half and led by no less than 16 the rest of the way. The 43-point margin of victory comes in the season's only scheduled matchup between the teams.
Casey Jones had 20 points and eight rebounds and the Mocs shot 0 of 13 from 3-point range and recorded only three assists.
