LAS VEGAS -- Javonte Green drove baseline and found Kyle Noreen for the game-winning 3-pointer to give Radford a 64-63 victory over Florida Gulf Coast in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic on Monday.
After Noreen's 3-pointer with 17 seconds left, FGCU went down the court but Bernard Thompson's 3-pointer was short. FGCU immediately fouled Rashun Davis, but the sophomore, averaging 79 percent from the line, missed the front end of a one-and-one. FGCU grabbed the rebound, but its final shot didn't get released before the buzzer.
Green finished with 25 points and Noreen added nine points, all 3-pointers for Radford (8-4).
FGCU (6-7) got 21 points and 10 rebounds from Chase Fieler and Thompson added 12.
Both teams shot at least 46 percent from the floor, each grabbed 29 rebounds, but Radford made one more 3-pointer (9) than FGCU.
