MARTIN, Tenn. -- Will Cook scored 18 points to lead five Samford players in double figures as the Bulldogs defeated Tennessee-Martin 75-62 Wednesday night, snapping a three-game losing streak.
Samford (3-10) trailed by seven early, but took the lead for good at 23-22 with 6:57 left in the first half. The Bulldogs, who led 36-30 at the break, opened the second half with a 10-4 run and maintained a double-digit cushion by shooting 60.9 percent from the field (14 of 23).
Kelly and Williams have scored in double figures in all 13 of their games this season.
