FARGO, N.D. -- Marshall Bjorklund scored 20 points to lead a balanced effort for North Dakota State in a 69-49 victory over Morehead State on Friday night.
North Dakota State also had a 31-22 rebounding advantage, with Bjorklund getting nine and Braun seven.
Accurate shooting also helped North Dakota State, which hit on 55.8 percent of its field-goal attempts.
The Bison hit just 4 of 16 attempts from 3-point range, and Morehead State (5-7) had even more difficulty, making just 1 of 13 of its shots from long range. Morehead State converted only 16 of 46 attempts from the floor (34.8 percent).
Maryland point guard Melo Trimble, considered a lock to leave the program before struggling in the second half last season, has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return for his junior season.
Louisville's Chinanu Onuaku, who recently underwent a medical procedure to correct a heart rhythm issue detected during the combine, will keep his name in the NBA draft pool.
Andrew White III will return to the Nebraska men's basketball team next season after removing his name from the NBA draft.
