BOZEMAN, Mont. -- Brandon Bos scored 21 points, leading five South Dakota players in double figures, and the Coyotes snapped a six-game losing streak by beating Montana State 85-74 on Sunday.
Juevol Myles had 16 points and seven assists, Casey Kasperbauer and Trevor Gruis scored 14 apiece and Tyler Flack added 11 points for the Coyotes (9-18), who overcame Montana State's game-opening 11-0 spurt.
The Bobcats led 23-14 before South Dakota closed the half on a 22-6 run to lead 36-29. The Coyotes maintained the lead throughout the second half and Montana State lost its fifth game in a row.
The teams' only other meeting was Dec. 31, 1946, when Montana State won 53-49 at Vermillion, S.D.
The guard prospect was one of the top players at the annual Spiece Run N Slam event.
