Marist went ahead to stay, 72-70, on Jay Bowie's layup with 56 seconds left. The Saints (7-22, 4-13) had two chances to tie it, but Davis Martens missed the back end of a 1-and-1 with 27 seconds left and Evan Hymes missed a 3-pointer with 20 on the clock.
