Chris Singleton returns for Florida St.

CHICAGO -- Florida State star Chris Singleton entered Friday's NCAA tournament game against Texas A&M after missing more than a month because of a broken right foot.

The team's leading scorer and rebounder, Singleton checked in with 7:35 left in the first half after a 9-0 run by the Aggies. He came in for Okaro White after the freshman hit two free throws to put Florida State back on top 14-12.

Singleton had not played since he was injured in the first half against Virginia on Feb. 12. He had surgery two days later, and the Seminoles split the six games in his absence leading up to the NCAA tournament.

Coach Leonard Hamilton had been hoping that Singleton would return for the tournament.
