COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The governor whose team loses the national college championship has a dress code when state leaders get together next year.

If Ohio State beats Miami in the Fiesta Bowl, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has to wear a Buckeyes jersey at a National Governor's Association meeting in February.

Ohio Gov. Bob Taft will be sporting the Hurricanes' orange and green if Miami wins the championship game Jan. 3 in Tempe, Ariz.

That's the penalty for losing a bet the governors made Friday.

"I think Governor Bush will look very good in scarlet and gray,'' Taft said.

Ohio State, at 13-0, is ranked second in the country. The defending-champion Miami is the top ranked team at 12-0 and has won 34 consecutive games.

"I am pleased Governor Taft is willing to help us celebrate this year's triumph by the Hurricanes,'' Bush said.
