Nebraska's Ryne Reeves hospitalized

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Junior offensive lineman Ryne Reeves was immobilized and removed by paramedics on a stretcher from Nebraska's practice Wednesday after suffering an apparent neck injury.

Reeves was hurt late in the seventh of 15 spring practices as the Huskers worked in full pads at the indoor Hawks Championship Center.

He rested on his knees with his head facing the ground before medical personnel laid Reeves on his back for several minutes as they awaited an ambulance.
