SaQwan Edwards held without bail

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- New Mexico cornerback SaQwan Edwards is being held without bond after surrendering to authorities in a rape case that previously led to the arrest of teammate Crusoe Gongbay.

Edwards was booked late Tuesday into an Albuquerque jail on suspicion of criminal sexual penetration.

Coach Bob Davie says the 21-year-old redshirt junior from Houston has been suspended from the team according to policy.

It's not immediately known whether Edwards has a lawyer. University ...
