Nick Marshall out of SEC media days

HOOVER, Ala. -- Auburn starting quarterback Nick Marshall will not attend SEC media days Monday following his citation for possession of a small amount of marijuana in Georgia on Friday.

Marshall -- who led Auburn to a 13-1 record, the SEC title and a runner-up finish in the VIZIO BCS National Championship last season -- will be replaced as one of Auburn's three players by tight end C.J. Uzomah.
