Poor Larry Coker. His Miami team so thoroughly Bogart-ed Nebraska Thursday evening in the BCS National Championship Game that he had to resort to the kind of postgame mush generally associated with beauty pageants. Had he been anymore gracious someone would have slung a Miss Congeniality sash over his shoulder.
"It's obviously a very exciting moment for us," he blubbered after the 37-14 victory. "It's a tremendous group of young men and coaches."
