Auburn beats Arkansas before largest crowd

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The largest two crowds ever to see Arkansas play a home game have watched the Razorbacks lose to teams from Alabama.

Saturday's game, a 10-3 loss to Auburn, drew the largest crowd ever to Razorback Stadium -- 74,026. The old record was 73,551 for last year's game against Alabama, a 30-12 loss.

The expanded stadium opened in 2001 with Tennessee beating the Razorbacks 13-3 before 70,470 -- the fourth-largest crowd in Fayetteville.
