Hoeppner gets extension through 2009
OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami of Ohio football coach Terry Hoeppner agreed to a five-year contract extension following a season in which the RedHawks won the Mid-American Conference for the first time since 1986.
The extension runs through the 2009 season.
Hoeppner was named MAC Coach of the Year, the first Miami coach to earn the honor since Dick Crum in 1974. He has a four-year record of 39-20 at the school.
