Booker will carry load in tailback's absence

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State tailback Leon Washington will miss at least one game with a separated right shoulder but could be out longer.

Washington will be out "probably a couple, looking at it optimistically," coach Bobby Bowden said after practice Monday.

Washington, the team's leading rusher with 689 yards and a 98.4-yard average, separated the shoulder in the fifth-ranked Seminoles' 20-17 win Saturday over Wake Forest.
