Syracuse also reportedly interviews Texas DC

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Syracuse has received permission from the Buffalo Bills to interview defensive coordinator Jerry Gray for their head coaching position.

Bills president Tom Donahoe said Thursday that the team granted Syracuse permission to interview Gray for the job that opened when Paul Pasqualoni was fired last week.

"Interviews never hurt you, to go through the process," Donahoe said. "The experience is good, whether it's a college job or a pro job."
