Selmon was All-American at Oklahoma

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State on Saturday hired former University of Oklahoma All-American Lucious Selmon to be its new defensive line coach.

Selmon, 53, replaces Steve Stripling, who resigned last month to accept a similar position at Michigan.

Selmon has been a coach for 27 years. His previous experience includes eight years with the Jacksonville Jaguars and 19 at Oklahoma.
