Davis suspended for 'conduct detrimental to the team'

Tulsa: Receiver Ashlan Davis, who set an NCAA record with five kickoff returns for touchdowns last season, was suspended from the Golden Hurricane's game Saturday at No. 18 Oklahoma, coach Steve Kragthorpe said.

Davis, a senior, was suspended for "conduct detrimental to the team," according to a Tulsa news release.
