Winston gets jail; White gets probation
Former Michigan State running back Glenn Winston was sentenced to six months in jail and one year of probation Monday for his role in a November fight at a campus residence hall.
Winston pleaded guilty last month to misdemeanor assault and battery and misdemeanor conspiracy to commit assault and battery. He also pleaded guilty to violating his parole, as he served four months in jail last year for another assault conviction.
