Safety Shaq Thompson of West team doesn't make trip because of injury

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Sixty-four of the nation's top skill-position players checked in Friday at ESPN's Wide World of Sports for the third annual ESPN RISE Games Gridiron Kings event.

The top quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, linebackers, cornerbacks and safeties are brought together for three days, and divided into teams based on region: West, Southwest, Southeast and Midwest.
