Austin Collinsworth may miss 2012

Notre Dame safety Austin Collinsworth could miss the 2012 season after undergoing surgery recently to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

The school announced Wednesday that Collinsworth, who suffered the injury during the spring, is expected to miss the next four to six months.
