CHENEY, Wash. -- Vernon Adams threw two touchdown passes in the last 2:19 as Eastern Washington came back for a 32-26 victory against Montana on Saturday night.
Adams found Ashton Clark for a go-ahead, 20-yard touchdown with 53 seconds remaining for the Eagles (3-1, 2-0 Big Sky). He hit Brandon Kaufman from 30 yards out to get Eastern Washington within 26-24, and the Eagles recovered an onside kick at midfield.
