ACC hands down suspensions

The ACC announced Monday it has suspended officials who worked two separate games Saturday, along with North Carolina freshman linebacker Shakeel Rashad for his hit on Duke's Conner Vernon.

Rashad appeared to intentionally nail Vernon during a substitution in the second quarter Saturday night. Head linesman Tyrone Davis and side judge Angie Bartis have been suspended one game for missing the call.
