Source: Monken to Southern Miss

Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Todd Monken has agreed to become the next head football coach for Southern Miss, according to a source.

Monken replaces Ellis Johnson, who was winless in his one season.

The last three Oklahoma State offensive coordinators have gotten excellent head coaching jobs -- Larry Fedora went to UNC, while Dana Holgorsen is coaching at West Virginia.
