Delaware fires coach K.C. Keeler

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware has fired head football coach K.C. Keeler after 11 seasons.
Keeler was 86-52 with the Blue Hens and led them to a Division I-AA national title in 2003 and two subsequent championship game appearances in 2007 and 2010.
Athletics director Eric Ziady says Keeler's success at the school will "forever be etched in the hearts and minds of the Blue Hen faithful," but that a change in direction is needed. Delaware went 12-10 over the past seasons ...
