Art Shell picked for College HOF

DALLAS -- Art Shell has been selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame as a member of its Divisional College class.

The divisional class honors coaches and players who competed outside the top level of college football.

Shell played offensive tackle for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore from 1964-67, and went on to a long career with the Oakland Raiders as a player and a coach. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.
