Bradley Roby charge dropped

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge against Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby has been conditionally dropped after a pretrial diversion agreement was filed in court.

Roby, involved in a fight at a Bloomington, Ind., bar in July, must avoid any additional legal trouble until Aug. 16, 2014, in order to have the charge dismissed, though the standout junior will still face punishment from coach Urban Meyer and will miss the season opener against Buffalo.
