QB Trickett in for ailing Childress

West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen is hoping his third starting quarterback this season will be the charm.

Holgorsen announced Thursday during his radio show that Clint Trickett will get the start Saturday against Oklahoma State in place of Ford Childress, who suffered a torn pectoral muscle and was unable to practice this week.

Holgorsen said he expects Childress to return next week but added that Trickett could win the job with a strong performance against the Cowboys.
