Made In America

The players selected for the ESPN.com 2010 All-America team illustrate how individuals may shine in the ultimate team game. Only 11 of the 25 best players in the nation will line up in a BCS bowl. Yet several of them have redefined the measure of success at their position.

There is the quarterback who needs no introduction and the kicker who barely needs goalposts. There are the defensive tackles who combine size and quickness as few players ever have. There is the sophomore linebacker who has pared the game down to its core: find the ball and tackle it -- every play.
