Stephon GilmoreDefensive Back | South Carolina
Playing in his last game at South Carolina, Gilmore had a hand in a little bit of everything as South Carolina raced past Nebraska 30-13, marking the Gamecocks' first 11-win season in school history. Gilmore, who announced last week that he was turning pro, helped steal the momentum away from the Huskers right from the start when he returned a blocked extra point for two points.
He also made back-to-back plays near the end of the first half that turned the game around. With Nebraska leading 13-9 and driving, Gilmore had a tackle for loss on second down and then intercepted Taylor Martinez on the next play. The Gamecocks capitalized with Alshon Jeffery's 51-yard touchdown catch as the first half expired.
