C.J. Mosley

Linebacker | Alabama

The senior became the first Alabama defensive player in the Nick Saban era to register 100 or more tackles in consecutive seasons, but his value went beyond the stat sheet and his ridiculous sideline-to-sideline speed. As Saban told reporters, "I trust C.J. to do anything -- watch my kids, take care of my house." Mosley was the glue that held it all together for the Tide, the heart of a defense that finished the regular season ranked in the top 15 nationally in nearly every major statistical category: total yards per game, rushing yards per game, passing yards per game and points per game.
