16. Oklahoma State

Does it really matter who's quarterbacking or coordinating the Cowboys anymore? They are always going to put up points. Despite playing three untested QBs in 2012, they had the nation's third-highest scoring offense. Wes Lunt transferred to Illinois, but Clint Chelf and J.W. Walsh return, and they'll have the deepest group of receivers in the Big 12 at their disposal. Oklahoma State has a new playcaller in Mike Yurcich, who arrived via Division II Shippensburg. Yurcich has never coached at the FBS level, but head coach Mike Gundy has a sterling track record of hiring coordinators. The key for the Cowboys will be defense. If they play enough of it, and force turnovers like they did in 2011, they might be the Big 12's team to beat. -- Jake Trotter
