Mark Barron

Safety | Alabama

A model for what a safety is supposed to look and play like, 6-foot-2, 218-pound Mark Barron has the strength, speed and hitting ability to dominate games from the defensive backfield. He hits like a linebacker but also has excellent instincts in pass coverage. Barron suffered a torn pectoral muscle in the Auburn game last season and missed the bowl game, but he still led Alabama with 75 total tackles. He has 10 career interceptions and is one of the best all-around athletes in the SEC. He's also hungry to come back during his senior season and re-establish himself as one of the top safeties in the college game.
