There are similarities between the start of the Jim Harbaugh-Urban Meyer era with the Bo Schembechler-Woody Hayes rivalry, but it's way too soon to say this is the start of another Ten Year War.

TCU wins 2-OT battle with Baylor

In a game that was marked by inclement weather, TCU prevails for the 28-21 victory over Baylor in double overtime, likely knocking the Bears out College Football Playoff consideration.

Heather Dinich ESPN Staff Writer

TCU's double OT win over Baylor knocked the Bears out of the CFP and race for the Big 12 title, leaving Oklahoma vs. Ok State the de facto Big 12 title game. The league needs the Sooners to win because they are currently No. 3 and its best shot at a one-loss champ in the top four. The Cowboys sit at No. 11, clearly not a top team right now in the eyes of the committee. If Bama, Clemson and Big Ten take three spots, Ok St could be left out in favor of ND, or possibly even Stanford. Big 12 fans should root for Stanford tomorrow, and then for Stanford to lose in Pac-12 title game -- just to be safe.

No. 19 TCU beats No. 7 Baylor in double OT

Baylor's Devin Chafin was stonewalled on 4th-and-1 by the TCU defense, giving the Horned Frogs the 28-21 win in double overtime, dashing Baylor's hopes of the College Football Playoff.

Took Baylor 59 minutes to figure out to use Coleman in backfield and even longer for TCU to use Turpin creatively.

Baylor and TCU headed to overtime in rain

Bears could set record-low under Briles

No. 7 Baylor has gone 15 straight drives without a point. That matches the longest streak in a single game under Art Briles, which has happened twice before. The only longer single-game streak in the last 12 seasons for Baylor was in 2007 ... against TCU. Live on ESPN/WatchESPN

Baylor offense unusually quiet

No. 7 Baylor's offense continues to be halted in the harsh elements. Tonight's game is the first time the Bears have been held scoreless in consecutive quarters (2nd and 3rd) since Oct. 29, 2011, when Robert Griffin III was at the helm against Oklahoma State and Brandon Weeden, when they trailed 35-0 at half.
