Hawaii dismisses Cox for undisclosed reasons

HONOLULU -- Hawaii reserve running back Mario Cox has been
dismissed from the team.

Coach June Jones would not say why the 5-foot-11, 250-pound
sophomore was kicked off the team.

Cox, of Oakland, appeared in five games this season for Hawaii (No. 14 BCS, No. 12 AP), rushing four times for nine yards and catching two passes
for 15 yards.

Cox's grandfather, Travis Williams, is a member of the Green Bay Packers' Hall of Fame.
