Auburn's used to that, though. The Tigers are back in the top four after surviving a back-and-forth battle with Ole Miss that featured a devastating injury to Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell just as he was about to score the go-ahead touchdown with 1:30 remaining. But Treadwell fumbled as he broke his leg and not only did Ole Miss see its playoff chances all but evaporate, but its most dynamic offensive weapon is down for the season.

Meanwhile, Oregon (No. 4) and TCU (No. 5) hold steady after big wins against Stanford and West Virginia, respectively..

Alabama might have fallen three spots despite being off, but the Tide will have plenty of chances to impress the committee in the next two weeks with games against LSU and Mississippi State.
