TULSA, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Tulsa tried to make up for its
lopsided series against Louisiana Tech in 60 minutes.
James Killian threw three touchdowns and Eric Richardson ran for
154 yards and two scored as Golden Hurricane rolled to a 48-18
rout of the Bulldogs.
Louisiana Tech had won six of the first seven meetings between
the teams since the series began in 1986. But the Golden

Killian completed 21-of-31 passes for 241 yards and ran for 32
yards on 11 carries. He has 21 touchdown passes this season,
tying the third-best total in school history.
Richardson rushed 21 times for 165 yards - the eighth 100-yard
game of his career - as Tulsa (7-4, 5-2 WAC) gained 242 of its
483 yards on the ground.
The Golden Hurricane defense was relentless, forcing five
turnovers, including four interceptions, and recording six
sacks. Linebacker Jorma Bailey and defensive back Michael LeDet
had three sacks apiece.
Louisiana Tech (5-6, 3-4) wasted a superb effort by Ryan Moats,
who rushed for 220 yards on 34 carries just three weeks after
gaining a career-high 267 yards.
Bulldogs quarterback Luke McCown uncharacteristically struggled,
completing just 12-of-25 passes for 161 yards and three
