AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Andre Walker ran for two first-quarter
touchdowns and Luke Getsy passed for three scores as Akron cruised
to a 33-13 win over North Texas Saturday night.
Walker had a touchdown run of 21 yards just 43 seconds into the
game and another with 5:10 left in the first quarter. Getsy threw a
37-yard touchdown pass to Jermaine Lindsay as the Zips (2-2) raced
to a 20-0 lead after one quarter.
Getsy also had second-quarter scoring passes of 4 yards to David
Harvey and 11 yards to Merce Poindexter.
Walker finished with 80 yards on 19 carries. Getsy completed 14
of 20 passes for 173 yards with no interceptions.
Woody Wilson threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Johnny Quinn with
6:30 left in the second quarter to get North Texas (1-3) within

touchdown run with 1:36 left in the third quarter. He finished with
