TROY, Ala. (AP) -- Kenny Cattouse rushed for a career-high 172 yards and two touchdowns to help lead Troy to a 42-28 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday.
Louisiana-Lafayette (4-4, 1-2 Sun Belt Conference) jumped ahead with a Phillip Nevels touchdown on a 15-yard pass from Jerry Babb.
The Ragin' Cajuns extended their lead to 14-0 early in the second when Deon Wallace scored on a 10-yard pass.
Troy's (4-4, 3-0) first score came on a one-yard touchdown from Justin Brooks, and Cattouse ran for seven yards to score another TD to tie the game. Another Trojans touchdown by Omar Haugabook ended the half with Troy ahead 21-14.
Louisiana-Lafayette's Tyrell Fenroy opened the third with a 41-yard touchdown pass from Babb to tie the game, but Troy responded with 14 unanswered points and entered the fourth quarter with a 35-21 lead.
Babb made it to the endzone early in the fourth for the Cajun's last points of the game. Troy's Julian Foster scored on a 15-yard pass with 2:11 left to play for the final score.
Haugabook went 12-of-19 for 153 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked twice.
Babb was 16-of-29 with 230 yards and three touchdowns. He was sacked three times.
